Hiking, star gazing, horseback riding, swimming, fishing and campfire s’mores and songs – every child deserves to have memories like this! Children fighting cancer yearn for the joys and freedoms of a healthy childhood, but are often limited by medical needs and required treatments. Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks gives children fighting cancer the opportunity to fulfill their own dreams of summer with others who understand and share their same battle. With a full medical staff, infirmary, and all the necessary accommodations, Arizona Camp Sunrise provides these wonderful kids a classic summer camp experience full of fun activities and friendships that will last a lifetime. Other programs and unique experiences are also made available to our “campily” throughout the year.

Each year, Southwest Kids’ Cancer Foundation invites the community and valued supporters to join them for the Annual Dreams of Summer Gala to benefit the children of Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks. The fundraising gala is the financial cornerstone of success for Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks so that children battling cancer may have the opportunity to dream this summer and enjoy a cherished summer camp experience that will last a lifetime.
